Finally!!!

finally i got the labels done!

i reveal a secret: if i bump into a new blog i rarely read it through. i mostly just concentrate on few topics which i can find from the listed labels and if there are no labels... i usually just close the tab.

however i haven't been living like i preach or whatever. but now i finally got it done. hip hip hurraa! hip hip hurraa!

Candle season has been opened

i found this candle when i was tossing away some old packages...
i made it in a juice container last year but run out of stearine before it was ready.

as i have noticed that big home made candles burn awfully bad, i decided to start using said candle instead of waiting for the accumulation of used candle material which is needed for the finishing touch. (i'm recycling the left overs - see my friends blog for her candle making post)

this candle is actually burning surprisingly well.

Last day of odp

i feel a bit better that for the last week i wore my dress for 6 days. otherwise i wore it maybe 30 % of my time (mostly out of the house though - it doesn't mean that i was inside all the time however;).

it's been nice to have kind of a uniform. no clothing worries in the morning. :) i also think my dress has been very neutral - no one has commented anything on it. i think they have noticed it though - people always do. here it's just difficult to get an open reaction. people fear they are impolite or say something wrong. - i remember when i cut my hair very short, it was real weird of not getting any feed back about my radical hairless look.

but back to the dress... i hoped that this experiment would help me wear it more often. i succeeded in that. i also feel more comfortable wearing it which is a bonus. :) maybe later i should have a skirt&dress challenge for a summer...

pi pronounced as pie (though a bit more dryly and geekly - yes dear, i know it's geeky but it doesn't rhyme with dryly), and not to be mixed up with the darren aronofsky's identically named psychological thriller from 1998, is a very important number.

Honoring women's solidarity

this beautiful statue is standing on a square quite near my apartment. must be a destiny that the universal feminine energy just decided to put up a BIG sign to remind me and my co-fellows living here... :) (we all know what you think about that sentence dragoste so don't even bother! :P)

Aphorism month

i knew already a while ago that i wanted to do an aphorism month - to post homemade aphorisms every day. i was supposed to start in february since it's nicely the shortest month of the year. well, now it's even shorter... :P
