What is this plant called?

purple stem, gingerbread leaves, we had it when i was a kid... now i found an old plant at work and cut some of it (it had small roots growing from the stems already) to plant at home.

what is this plant???

- our ancestors were hairy and climbing on trees.
- not mine, they were the hairless beauties.
- haha! have you ever seen one of those hairless moles? they have wrinkled skin and they are ugly. :P

I have a question!/ Think out of the box!

Candle season has been opened

i found this candle when i was tossing away some old packages...
i made it in a juice container last year but run out of stearine before it was ready.

as i have noticed that big home made candles burn awfully bad, i decided to start using said candle instead of waiting for the accumulation of used candle material which is needed for the finishing touch. (i'm recycling the left overs - see my friends blog for her candle making post)

this candle is actually burning surprisingly well.

Pieni enkeli

kuka muistaa kylli-tädin? eräässä ohjelmassa hän maalasi sadun pienestä enkelistä, joka tuli maan päälle ilahduttamaan ihmisiä suloisesti tuoksuvalla kukallaan. satu taisi sijoittua juuri joulun aikaan... lopulta tarinassa kävi niin, että kaikista pienen enkelin kohtaamista henkilöistä vain lapset olivat kiinnostuneita kukasta (aikuiset olivat totta tosiaan liian kiireisiä huomatakseen edes koko kukkaa). he ottivat sen iloiten vastaan ja veivät kotiin koko perheen ihasteltavaksi - pieni enkeli palasi iloisena takaisin taivaaseen.

hieman paatoksellistahan tuo on, mutta ah, niin suloista. :) sitäpaitsi se innoitti minut kyseiseen kuvasarjaan sekä antoi aiheen kalenterin yhteen luukkuun.
